Pelican Nest Protection
“Safeguarding your home and way of life.”
This Membership Agreement outlines the terms and benefits of participation in the Pelican Nest Protection Membership Program (the “Membership”) provided by Pelican Heating & Air.
1. Program Overview
The Pelican Nest Protection Membership is a monthly service program designed to protect the comfort, safety,
and reliability of your home’s mechanical systems through proactive maintenance, priority service, and long-term
planning. Membership is billed monthly and requires a minimum twelve (12) month commitment to ensure
proper maintenance cycles and consistent system care.
2. Membership Tiers
Pelican Nest Essential Protection – $15 a month
Coverage for one of the following: – One indoor heating unit – One 1:1 ductless system – One fireplace. Designed
for homes with a single comfort system requiring routine, proactive care.
Pelican Nest Enhanced Protection – $20 a month
Coverage for more complex systems, including: – Indoor and outdoor HVAC systems – Boilers – Multi-zone
ductless systems. Designed for homes with more complex systems or both heating and cooling equipment with
one annual visit from highly trained Pelican Heating & Air technician.
Pelican Nest Premium Protection – $25 a month
Coverage for more complex systems, including: – Indoor and outdoor HVAC systems – Boilers – Multi-zone
ductless systems. Designed for homes that require a higher level of monitoring and service coordination with two
visits annually from a highly trained Pelican Heating & Air technician.
Pelican Nest Complete Protection – $45 a month
Comprehensive coverage includes: – All HVAC systems in your Nest. Designed for homeowners seeking full
protection and maximum peace of mind with complex or multiple systems within their home. Includes two visits
annually from a highly trained Pelican Heating & Air technician.
3. Universal Membership Benefits
All Pelican Nest Membership tiers include the following benefits:
Annual system maintenance for covered equipment
Priority scheduling
One service call fee waived per calendar year
Member-only discounts on covered repairs
Maintenance documentation and system history tracking
A $100 annual system replacement credit, subject to the terms in Section 6
Complimentary inspection of conventional hot water tanks
Tankless water heater maintenance for an additional $5 a month
Access to Pelican AirShield filter program ($6/month for most sizes)
4. Billing and Term
Membership is billed monthly to the payment method on file.
A minimum commitment of twelve (12) consecutive months is required.
After the initial 12-month term, membership will renew automatically on a month-to-month basis unless cancelled
in accordance with Section 10.
Prices and included benefits are subject to change with written notice as permitted by Washington State law.
5. Maintenance Scheduling
Maintenance must be scheduled and completed within the membership year. Unused maintenance visits donot carry forward and have no cash value.
6. System Replacement Credit Terms
Members receive a $100 credit for each full year of active membership.
Credits accrue annually and may be applied toward the purchase of a new system installation provided by Pelican
Heating & Air.
Credits may accumulate up to a maximum of $1,000 per membership.
Credits have no cash value and may not be applied toward repairs, maintenance, or third-party work.
Credits are non-transferable and must be used by the active member at the service address on file.
7. Limitations and Exclusions
Membership benefits apply only to equipment listed and approved at enrollment.
Membership does not include parts, labor, or emergency after-hours service unless otherwise stated in writing.
One waived service call fee per calendar year applies to standard diagnostic visits only and does not include repairs
or after-hours charges.
Pelican Heating & Air reserves the right to deny service where unsafe or non-code-compliant conditions exist.
8. Why the Pelican Nest Program
Your home is more than equipment—it is where daily life happens. The Pelican Nest Protection Agreement is
designed to safeguard your home by reducing unexpected failures, spreading costs over time, and helping you plan
ahead for future system replacement.
9. Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I cancel early?
If membership is cancelled before completion of the initial 12-month term, Pelican Heating & Air may recover the
value of any discounts, waived fees, or credits already applied, as permitted by law.
Do unused benefits roll over?
Unused maintenance visits, waived service call fees, or discounts do not roll over and have no cash value.
Can I transfer my membership?
Memberships and accrued credits can be transferred to a new address but cannot be transferred to a different
homeowner.
What happens to my system replacement credits if I cancel?
Credits expire immediately upon cancellation and may not be redeemed after termination.
10. Cancellation Policy
Membership may not be cancelled during the initial 12-month commitment except as required by law. After the
initial term, cancellation requires written notice prior to the next billing cycle. Pelican Heating & Air will provide
confirmation of cancellation once processed
