Product Overview

Personalized Comfort Across Multiple Rooms

A Carrier Multi-Zone Ductless System connects one outdoor heat-pump unit to multiple indoor units installed throughout the home. Each indoor unit serves a separate room or zone, allowing occupants to adjust temperatures based on how each space is used.

Carrier systems can support several indoor-unit styles, including high-wall units, ceiling cassettes, floor consoles, and concealed ducted units. This flexibility makes multi-zone ductless equipment useful for older homes without central ductwork, finished basements, additions, converted garages, home offices, and areas with persistent temperature differences.

Carrier’s current Performance 25 Multi-Zone Heat Pump can connect up to six indoor units to one outdoor unit. It provides cooling during summer and heating during colder weather, with operation available at outdoor temperatures as low as -13°F.

This System May Be Right for You If:

  • You need heating and cooling in multiple rooms.

  • Your home does not have traditional central ductwork.

  • Different occupants prefer different room temperatures.

  • You are finishing an addition, basement, attic, or garage.

  • You want to reduce heating and cooling in unused areas.

  • You want multiple indoor-unit styles and placement options.
